About this position

MaP develops innovative imaging methods to digitize and analyze microstructures in rocks and porous materials. Our products support our customers by delivering new insights into their raw and processed materials in the manufacturing and product development process.

This will include the following tasks

Supporting existing infrastructure

Setup, procurement, configuration and maintenance of new hard- and software

Documentation of new and existing processes

Maintenance of Windows Server 2019 Core, MS Active Directory, MS Office 365, Windows 7/10, Seafile, Synology Diskstations, Proxmox, Softether VPN, Debian/Ubuntu, Nginx

Maintenance of network infrastructure such as OPNsense, MS DNS, Wifi APs

Monitoring of system and network health, e.g. predictive storage upgrades and backup reliability

Desired skills and experience

Training or degree in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in the following areas:

Windows Server Administration

Windows 10

TCP/IP network standards and configuration

Basic knowledge in Linux servers, mail systems, databases

Affinity for automation/programming e.g. in Python

Independent analytical troubleshooting skills, picking up new skills where necessary.
Ability to work professionally with users and customers is a must.
Fluent in either English or German, good level of both is a plus.
